As a client manager at Marsh & Partners, Ruth capitalises on her highly effective delivery and management skills and her depth of experience across a large and diverse client portfolio to identify issues quickly and provide appropriate solutions.
Ruth began her career while still at university and working part-time at an accounting firm providing bookkeeping services to their clients. This ground level exposure to business finances, operations and owners, has given her an understanding of what it truly takes to keep a business in check.
From there, Ruth gained over ten year’s valuable experience in all facets of the accounting industry, in particular the tax and compliance arena. Ruth joined the Marsh & Partners team in 2008 as a tax accountant and quickly progressed to a Manager’s role which involves her advising a diverse range of SME business and investment clients.
Ruth is focused on providing quality advice to clients, particularly in the areas of optimal structuring and asset protection, year-end tax compliance and tax planning strategies, and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds. Not only does she enjoy the ‘number crunching’ and technical aspects of her job, she enjoys developing a close connection with her clients. She understands there is not a ‘one fit solution’ for everyone and therefore strives to ensure the advice is tailored to a client’s personal circumstances and goals.
